High Strangeness 2 : Brigitte Barclay Case Update

In the upcoming episode of High Strangeness I’ll be in the UK to talk with Brigitte Barclay, one of Britain’s most high profile UFO contactees. You may be aware of my recent article, Synchronicities & Experiencers: The Brigitte Barclay Story, which recently appeared on several websites including unknowncountry.com, Phenomenon Magazine and here at Eye Witness Radio.

What’s important to note is that although the article only recently appeared, it has actually been nine months since I put pen to paper. It’s odd to read something that I wrote less than a year ago and feel as if it were written by someone else. So much has happened to re-shape my opinions about this subject. In fact, if it weren’t for my research into Brigitte’s fascinating story – and my own subsequent involvement in that story – I don’t think I would be nearly as interested in “high strangeness” and the neighboring phenomena that appear to relate to the UFO/contact subject.

This past year has really opened my mind to a whole other reality and a new mindset with regard to researching the UFO subject, and in particular the role synchronicity may play in the subject. For those who think that looking into synchronicities is irrelevant to the UFO phenomena, I’d ask you to consider these words I recently received from Jacques Vallee:

“Lorin… I am happy to read that you are pursuing the question of synchronicities, it seems to be integral to the phenomena we are studying.”

Therefore, what I’d like to do in the upcoming episode of High Strangeness is tell you about some of the further developments in Brigitte’s case, our continuing story together, and our latest synchronicities including a new one that relates to both Topanga Canyon and music (see the first article mentioned above for the background to this). Brigitte and I will also discuss her latest sightings of balls of light and flying triangles, and our joint experiences during her recent trip to Oregon and Washington. The complete story of Brigitte’s lifetime of encounters will be covered in my book, “Unearthly Child”, which is due out in 2013.

So please join me on Thursday, March 29th, 2012 at 7 pm EST for this look into the very essence of “high strangeness” activity in relation to the contactee phenomenon and Brigitte’s story. I believe it holds many clues as to the true nature of what we are dealing with and the way in which the UFO phenomena interact with our consciousness and with those who experience contact.

2012 sees the screening of several TV shows and documentaries that I filmed in the past year.

Andrew Gough and Mindscape TV filmed a documentary called “The Alien Within” about the alien abduction phenomena with myself, Nick Pope and skeptic Susan Blackmore, amongst others. No details on which channel this will be on yet as it’s still in post-production.

A production team interviewed me for a History Channel documentary about alien contact featuring myself, nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman and quantum physicist Michio Kaku.

Next up is a series being made by Back 2 Back TV with singer Shaun Ryder from The Happy Mondays examining the ufo subject (see above). I will be finishing filming this late November 2012 and will be aired on The History Channel. Watch out for this show as it looks like it’s going to be a bit different . Shaun has himself had many ufo sightings since he was a young boy along time before his Happy Monday days !!

Brigitte Barclay has had a lifetime of UFO sightings and close encounters, starting in childhood and continuing to this day. In a joint presentation with former Ministry of Defence official Nick Pope, she details some of her extraordinary experiences. The UFO sightings include a close-up, daylight encounter with a large, metallic disc-shaped craft, seen at close range in Los Angeles and witnessed by her friend. This craft was being pursued or escorted by several unmarked helicopters. Brigitte’s alien abduction experiences include many factors typically reported by abductees, including screen memories, child presentations and passing through solid objects. She has also encountered what might be described as Men in Black. Brigitte has only given one previous public talk, at Graham Birdsall’s 2001 conference. In this completely updated presentation, she speaks openly about her experiences and their wider implications.
